Lemonade Stand and Flag Coloring for our Veterans

During the annual Milford Memorial Day parade, a group of families and MCP students offered enrichment to the community while raising donations for the Milford American Legion, the parade organizer and sponsor. Coloring pages that offered an explanation of why we celebrate Memorial Day were distributed to downtown restaurants for use throughout the weekend. Local business Palate, offered up the space in front of their business for us to offer lemonade and water by donation and set up a “Color Your Own Flag” table where children waiting for the parade could color and create their own flag to wave proudly during the parade.
