When one of our members was diagnosed with Leukemia, students at the Milford Cooperative Preschool knew they wanted to give back to the community in his honor.  A cooperative Grandpa built the cart to be delivered to the Beaumont Children’s Hospital Pediatric Oncology unit. Children worked hard at home to make money to purchase supplies and donate money to fund the project. They took turns stocking it full of “art cart” supplies so that children have something fun and new to do when they are receiving their treatments. As an ongoing project, we will continue to stock the cart as needed.
