Students were visited by some of our Cooperative parents who keep bees! They brought honeycomb that was ready to be extracted and all of the kids got to take a turn scraping it, turning the extractor and trying the honey! had a turn trying it. They learned how to take care of them, what happens to them in the winter and got to try on bee keeper suits.
